Honey Butter Rolls

Light and fluffy rolls smothered with a rich honey butter


Ingredients

4 1/2 cups bread flour

1 cup of water

1 packet instant yeast

7 egg yolks

2 tbsp sugar

3 tbsp honey

2 tsp salt

1/3 cup vegetable oil

Procedure

1.Dissolve the yeast in 1 cup of warm water

2.Combine the remaining ingredients followed by the yeast and water into a stand mixer with a hook attachment

3.Beging kneading the dough on the 1st speed for 3 minutes

4.Scrape the sides of the bowl and begin kneading on the 2nd speed for 8 minutes

5.Divide the dough into 1 oz portions

6.Fold the rolls into themselves, then flip so the top forms a dome

7.Using your palm roll the dough into tight circles

8.Place the rolls into a greased baking dish then brush with olive oil to prevent a skin from forming

9.Cover the dish with a towel and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (Roughly 2 hrs)

10.Brush the rolls with egg wash then bake in a oven preheated to 400F for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown

11.Smother the rolls with honey butter when they are fresh out of the oven



Honey butter

Ingredients

1 stick of salted butter (softened)

3 tbsp honey

1tsp powder sugar

1/4 tsp cinnamon

Procedure

1.Whip the softened butter until light and fluffy

2.Fold in the remaining ingredients then whip for a second time until light and fluffy
